New Mexico: Revised Regulations Allow For Licensed Production Of Up To 150 Medical Marijuana Plants

Albuquerque, NM: Department of Health officials have finalized
regulatory changes to the state's medical marijuana program that
increase the number of mature plants that may be cultivated at any one
time by a state-licensed producer from 95 to 150.

ニューメキシコ州アルバカーキ: 州保健局は州における医療大麻計画ついての
規制基準の改訂案をまとめ上げた。この新たな基準の下では、州の認可を得た
生産者が栽培する事のできる成長した大麻の株の最大保有数が、これまでの
95 株から 150 株に引き上げられる。

Under state law, regulators may license nonprofit facilities to
manufacture and dispense medical cannabis to authorized
patients. There are now 25 state-licensed cultivators of medical
marijuana in New Mexico, the Associated Press reports.

州法に定められた規定によれば、規制当局は許可を得た患者のために医療大麻
を生産、提供するような非営利機関に対してライセンスを発行する事ができる。
AP 通信社の報道によれば、現在ニューメキシコ州には州のライセンスを持った
医療大麻の生産施設が 25 ヶ所に存在する。

Regulators said that they increased the plant limits to address
reports of medical marijuana shortages at state dispensaries.

規制当局の語った所では、株数の制限を引き上げたのは州内のディスペンザリー
で医療大麻が不足しているとの報告を受けた為であるという。

The revised regulations also allow for licensed manufacturers to
obtain plants, seeds, and/or usable cannabis from other non-profit
producers.

今回改訂された新たな基準の下ではライセンスを持った生産者は他の非営利の
生産者から大麻の株、種、そして生産された大麻製品の提供を受ける事も出来
るものとされている。

State approved cultivators must pay an annual licensing fee to state
ranging from $5,000 to $30,000.

州の認可を受けた生産者はその認可料として毎年 5,000 ドルから 30,000 ドル
を州に支払う事が求められる。

There are more than 3,000 medical marijuana patients in New Mexico,
including about 1,400 who are licensed to produce their own supply,
the AP reports.

AP 通信社の報道によると、現在ニューメキシコ州には医療大麻を使用している
患者の数は 3,000 名余りであり、そのうちの約 1,400 名は自らの為に大麻を
生産する許可を受けているとの事である。
